These cases were tried together and arise out of a single two-car collision occurring during daylight hours on August 26, 1962, at an intersection of two town roads in the town of Hull, Portage county. Defendant Peter F. Rombalski with James Sheridan as a passenger was driving his car in a northerly direction on Dobeck road. About the same time Joseph J. Firkus, plaintiff in Case No. 47 and defendant in Case No. 48, was driving his car east on Jordan road. The collision occurred in the southeast quadrant of the intersection.
